🔍 How It Works
Print the QR code for the required location.
Place the code at the physical location (or on the equipment if relevant).
In the system, add a “QR code scan” step to the relevant task.
When completing the task, the team scans the code on-site as part of the task checklist.
How to Add a QR task to your Inspection
When creating a new inspection, you can add a QR section - a task linked to a specific location. To add it:
Enter the inspection creation/edit screen (page 2).
Add a new section of type "QR Check."
Select the location from the list of locations within the property.
The task performer will be required to scan the physical QR code placed at the location, and only then will they be able to complete the task.
How to Export QR Codes from the Property Page
To ensure the code is available on-site for scanning, it should be exported from the My Property page under Locations and printed in advance:
Click on Locations in the My Property page, then click on the QR code associated with the location.
2. When the code window opens, click Download File.
The code should be physically placed on-site on equipment, room doors, electrical panels, and more, to allow staff to scan it while on location.
Example scenario:
During a routine inspection of the generator room, a task can be added that requires the staff member to scan a QR code physically placed on the control panel. This means the task can only be completed when the staff is actually present at the correct location.
It ensures the inspection is carried out on-site, exactly where intended, reinforcing accuracy and accountability in the process.
What happens when someone scans a QR code in general
Scanning a QR code provides quick access to relevant tasks at a location, up-to-date information, and saves time navigating through the system.
When a team member scans a location QR code—whether or not they’re inside an inspection—the system will respond as follows:
If there are no active inspections at that location – A page with the location's details will open, including equipment, activity history, and more.
If there are active inspections at that location – All relevant tasks will be displayed immediately and can be started right away.
