Configuring Profile Settings

How to configure your user profile account settings

Manage your personal account settings to keep your contact information, language preferences, and notification styles up to date.


Opening your profile settings

  1. Log in to your Visitt account to open your Status workspace.

  2. Tap your name in the lower-left corner of the sidebar menu.

Selecting your name opens a quick-action menu with the following options:

  • Active: Set your availability and working hours.

  • Schedule Out of Office: Block a period of unavailability and assign your property responsibilities to a backup user. Use this when you go on holiday. During that period you won't receive notifications, and your assigned work will be directed to your designated backup user. When the period ends, your notifications and responsibilities automatically return to you. Learn more about Out of Office.

  • Language: Choose your preferred system interface language.

  • Profile: Enter the full settings page to manage details, notifications, and permissions.

  • Clear Site Data: Delete local application data.

  • Invite User: Send an invitation to a new team member.

  • Logout: Securely exit Visitt.

📌 To upload or change your profile picture, tap your name initials icon at the bottom left of the sidebar.


Active — control your availability

Control when you receive notifications by managing your availability status.

  • Active: Represented by a green tag. You are online and ready to receive alerts.

  • Away: Represented by a moon icon. Notifications are silenced.

  • Scheduling: Configure specific days and hours for your availability. Days highlighted in blue are active; grey days indicate you will not receive notifications.


Language

Select Language from the quick-action menu to change the system interface language. Visitt supports multiple languages.

💡 Changing the interface language does not prevent you from sending messages in other languages.


Profile

Select Profile from the quick-action menu to open the full settings page. This page has three tabs: Details, Notifications, and Permissions.


Details

Update your professional identity and platform preferences.

Profile information

  • First and Last Name

  • Email Address

  • Position (e.g., Floor Manager)

  • Phone Number

Preferences

Tailor the platform's appearance and data display to your liking:

  • Time Format: Choose between 12-hour (AM/PM) or 24-hour clocks.

  • Date Format: Select your preferred calendar display style.

  • Profile image color: If you do not use a photo, select a color for your initial-based avatar.

Assigned Properties

This section displays the properties you are currently assigned to. Depending on your permissions, you may be able to use the Update access button to join new properties or remove yourself from existing ones.

💡 The ability to add or remove yourself from properties depends on your user role. If the Update access button is unavailable, contact an Admin in your property to make changes. See User Roles and Permissions for more information.

📌 Once you finish configuring your profile details, tap Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

Notifications

Customize how and when you stay informed. Toggle specific alerts on or off for different features and choose your preferred delivery channels:

  • Email

  • SMS

  • Push Notifications

Permissions

View your assigned user role and track recent activity changes.

  • Team Members: View the specific permissions granted to you by your administrator. Your access is limited to features your Admin has enabled for your role.

  • Managers: View and manage most features across the system. Some actions require explicit permission from an Admin.

  • Admins: Full access to all features in the property. For a complete breakdown of what each role can do, see User Roles and Permissions in Visitt.
