Written by Zach Kahan

Visitt is an AI-native property management platform. This guide walks you through the Visitt platform screen by screen, ensuring you can monitor tasks, communicate with tenants, and analyze performance efficiently.

📌 Ensure you have Admin or Manager permissions to access all features described in this guide.

1. Status Page

The Status Page is your high-level command center, providing an immediate snapshot of your property's health.

  • Purpose: Monitor real-time metrics such as open work orders, pending documents, and tenant satisfaction scores.

  • Key Actions: View the Daily Overview to see today's work orders, completed inspections, and tenant reviews. You can also track Vendor COI (Certificate of Insurance) compliance and create new work orders directly from this view.

2. My Work

The My Work screen is designed for individual accountability and daily task execution.

  • Purpose: Focus on tasks and inspections specifically assigned to you or your immediate team.

  • Key Actions: Manage your personal to-do list and active work orders to ensure no urgent requests are missed. You can also add new work orders to your queue.

3. Notifications

The Notifications center serves as your real-time alert hub for all building activity.

  • Purpose: Review all platform alerts to prioritize your daily workload.

  • Key Actions: Stay updated on critical tasks and configure your notification settings to control how you receive alerts.

4. Reports

The Reports section transforms raw data into actionable insights to help you reduce costs and standardize processes.

  • Purpose: Analyze team performance and property trends over time.

  • Key Actions: Access Discovery Reports to view Visitt AI insights on recurring issues. You can also export customized PDF reports for stakeholders.

5. Work Orders

The Work Orders tab is where you manage the full lifecycle of maintenance requests and repairs.

  • Purpose: Centralize all reactive and proactive maintenance tasks in one place.

  • Key Actions: Use the Search and Filter functions to organize tasks by status, building, or category. Visitt AI automatically generates titles and detects duplicates to keep your data clean. You can add new orders, set up automations, and export reports.

6. Inspections

The Inspections screen ensures your property remains well-maintained and compliant through regular checks.

  • Purpose: Manage building walks, safety checks, and recurring inspection routines.

  • Key Actions: Monitor open inspections and review completed logs to ensure all safety protocols are met. You can add new one-time or recurring inspections and use filters to focus on specific areas.

7. Documents

The Documents tab acts as a digital filing cabinet for all essential property paperwork.

  • Purpose: Organize and store digital documents, warranties, and vendor contracts.

  • Key Actions: Upload new files and link them to specific spaces or equipment for easy retrieval during maintenance or repairs.

8. Content

Content is where you create and manage custom pages that appear in your tenants' Visitt+ app — such as building announcements, service directories, or important documents.

  • Purpose: Engage tenants with branded, property-specific information directly inside the Visitt+ app.

  • Key Actions: Create custom app pages or document pages, save drafts, and publish when ready. Pages can be set to appear on the tenant app homepage (Highlights) or under the More tab. Desktop and mobile previews are available before publishing.

💡 Content is accessible to Admins by default. Managers can be granted access by an Admin. See Content: Create and Manage Tenant App Pages for full details.

9. My Property

The My Property screen is the hub for managing your physical assets and portfolio hierarchy.

  • Purpose: Maintain an accurate record of buildings, floors, spaces, and equipment.

  • Key Actions: Add new buildings and spaces or drill down to Add Equipment. You can also generate QR Codes for assets to speed up field operations and tracking.

10. Billing

The Billing page simplifies the financial aspects of service requests and vendor coordination.

  • Purpose: Manage billing information and track service-related costs.

  • Key Actions: Review past invoices for service requests and manage the list of invoice recipients.
