Manage properties in Global Settings

Learn how to view your Property portfolio and assign Asset Types and Regions from one central page. (Global Admins only)

Written by Marque Haynes

What is the Properties page?

The Properties page gives Global Admins a centralized view of every Property in the account. From here, you can see how Properties are organized and update their Asset Type or Region (Property Group). It is found under Settings → Account → Account structure → Properties.

Navigate to Properties Section

How it works - View all properties

The Properties page displays a table with the following columns:

  • Property Name

  • Region (Property Group)

  • Asset Type

  • Integrations

This gives you a full overview of your portfolio structure in one place.

Search for a property

Use the search bar at the top of the page to find a Property by name. This is useful when managing a large portfolio.

Assign or change an Asset Type

Asset Types classify your Properties (for example, Commercial, Industrial, or Mixed Assets).

  1. Go to Settings → Account → Account structure → Properties.

  2. Locate the Property in the table and click on it.

  3. Select or update the Asset Type for that property.

Changes to Asset Type update the Property's classification across the account and may affect reporting, filters, and settings.

Assign or change a Region (Property Group)

Regions group Properties for organizational and reporting purposes.

  1. Go to Settings → Account → Account structure → Properties.

  2. Find the Property you want to update.

  3. Click the Region of that Property.

  4. From the dropdown, select the new Region you want to assign the Property to.

  5. Click Save changes.

Changes to a Region update the portfolio structure immediately. They affect reporting filters and, if your account uses Region-based access, may also affect which Users can access the Property.

Common scenarios

  • You're reorganizing your portfolio by Region. Use the Properties page to reassign Properties to updated Regions. Changes apply immediately and reflect across reporting and User access.

  • You've onboarded a new Property and need to classify it. Assign the correct Asset Type so the Property appears correctly in dashboards, filters, and structure views.

  • You need to find a specific Property in a large portfolio. Use the search bar at the top of the Properties page to locate it quickly without scrolling through the full table.
