Overview:

In this tutorial, we will go over the steps of creating a work order ticket. For a quicker work order process we encourage you to enable automation, this allows the system to automatically assign team members and due dates to the tasks created.

To check out more information on setting up the automation process continue to the Automation Article.

How to Create a work order:

Start by selecting the "+ Add work order" button that can be found in the top right hand corner of your screen and select the options applicable to the needed job:

  • Location and Space: Pick where the work should be done.

  • Priority: You can set this to show how urgent the work is. (Note: Automation can set the priority based on the category or location.)

  • Category: This helps sort and assign work orders.

  • Description: Write a short note about the work that needs to be done.

  • Checklist: Add a list of things to check or do at the location (optional)

  • Assigned User: Choose a team member to do the work. (Note: Automation can choose the user based on the category or location.)

  • Picture: If you have a photo for the work order, you can add it here.

  • Due Date: Set a date to make sure the work gets done on time. (Note: Automation can set the due date based on the category or location.)

Complete the work order by selecting "Add work order" at the bottom of the tab.

** All options chosen for the work order will be visible by the team member receiving the assigned task.

To view the newly created Work order, please select the work order tab.
